公爵夫人, 女公爵
　　A duke's wife or widow is a duchess, but a lady who holds the same rank as a duke is also a duchess.　公爵の妻や 未亡人はduchess(公爵夫人)であるが、公爵と同等の位を持つ貴婦人も duchess(女公爵)である。
