（法律）を制定する
　　The United States Congress enacted a law which committed 32 billion dollars to the construction of 41,000 miles of highways. This law is known as the Highway Act of 1956.　合衆国議会は、4万1千マイルの幹線道路建設のために320億ドルを投じるという法律を 制定した。この法律は1956年幹線道路法として知られている。
　　In that country, a law has been enacted that chewing gum cannot be bought, sold, or chewed at any place.　その国では、いかなる場所でも チューインガムを買うこと、売ること、噛むことが出来ないという法律が定められた。
