足の指
　　I had to walk all the way home along the road covered with snow and my toes got numb on the way.　雪に覆われた道を家までずっと歩かなければ ならなかったので、途中で足の指がかじかんでしまった。
　　The big toe of my left foot hurts whenever I wear this pair of shoes.　この靴を履くといつも左足の親指が痛む。

(靴などの)つま先
　　The left shoe fits perfectly, though the right shoe is slightly tight in the toe area.　左側はぴったり 合うのに、右はつま先のあたりが少しきつい。
　　I didn’t like to throw out my tights with holes in the toes, so I cut off the bottom of them at the ankle and wear them as leggings.　つま先に穴の開いたタイツを捨てたくなかったので、足首のと ころで切ってレギンスにしてはいている。
